About You
Proven experience in underground mine surveying or equivalent
Advanced Diploma of Surveying or Bachelor of Applied Science (Surveying)
Current WA "C" Class Driver's Licence
Proficiency in using modern survey equipment
Familiarity with Surpac and Deswik
Desire to adhere to safety policies and statutory regulations
Job Role
A leading gold producer in the Western Australian mining industry, is looking for a diligent and motivated Underground Mine Surveyor to join their Technical Services team. As a key member, within a dynamic team environment, you will be instrumental in ensuring the safety and efficiency of the underground operations by providing accurate survey control and maintaining essential mine records and plans.
Champion a strong safety culture by following company policies and reporting hazards.
Set up and maintain underground survey control points to support daily operations.
Deliver accurate drill set-outs for production and exploration activities.
Update mine plans and survey records to reflect current site conditions.
Perform monthly volume surveys for development and stope areas.
Keep survey equipment calibrated and in top working condition.
