Overview: Join a high-precision manufacturing facility producing critical components for industrial gas turbines used in power generation. As a Water Spider Operator, you’ll play a key role in maintaining production flow by ensuring machinists and technicians have the tools, materials, and supplies they need—exactly when and where they need them.

Shift: 2nd Shift (2pm-10pm) OR (3rd Shift) (10pm - 6am)

Key Responsibilities:
  • Proactively deliver tooling, raw materials, consumables, and documentation to workstations to minimize downtime
  • Monitor inventory levels at point-of-use stations and replenish as needed
  • Coordinate with tool crib attendants, warehouse staff, and production leads to support just-in-time delivery
  • Maintain clean and organized work areas, ensuring compliance with 5S and lean manufacturing principles
  • Track and report shortages, damaged items, or delays to supervisors for resolution
  • Assist in staging jobs and preparing kits for CNC and EDM operations
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives aimed at reducing waste and improving workflow efficiency
  • Operate material handling equipment such as pallet jacks and carts safely and effectively
Qualifications:
  • 1+ year experience in a manufacturing or warehouse support role
  • Familiarity with lean manufacturing concepts, especially the Water Spider role
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work on your feet throughout the shift
  • Basic computer skills; experience with ERP or inventory systems a plus
  • Forklift certification preferred
