Wells Site Supervisor – Completions & Well Interventions (CWI)
Location: Surat Basin (Chinchilla / Roma / Miles region)
Roster: 3 weeks on / 3 weeks off (12-hour shifts)
Contract: 12 month contract assignment with potential extension
Rate: Daily rate of $1544/day inclusive of superannuation

About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Wells Site Supervisor (CWI) to oversee the safe and efficient execution of wellsite operations across a multi-well appraisal campaign. The role will play a key part in delivering horizontal multi-stage hydraulic stimulation, coiled tubing, slickline, workover rig and well testing activities.
This is a hands-on leadership role at the wellsite, ensuring contractor onboarding, SIMOPS management, QA/QC of all operations and strict adherence to health, safety and environmental standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and supervise hydraulic stimulation, coiled tubing, wireline, and flowback/well testing operations.
  • Ensure all work is performed safely, efficiently and in compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Provide clear direction to contractors and site personnel, ensuring alignment on operational objectives.
  • Act as the Frontline Barrier Manager and Site Safety Manager at the wellsite.
  • Coordinate execution resources and logistics to ensure smooth mobilisation and demobilisation.
  • Drive a culture of safety, quality, and continuous improvement.
  • Maintain accurate operational reporting and prepare well handover packs.
  • Engage with landholders, community stakeholders, and local teams to uphold the company’s license to operate.
Skills & Experience
  • Minimum 5 years’ operational oil & gas experience.
  • At least 2 years’ direct supervisory experience with hydraulic stimulation.
  • Additional experience with coiled tubing and/or well testing strongly preferred.
  • Valid IWCF Level 4 (Well Interventions – Coiled Tubing and Wireline electives) or willingness to obtain.
  • Strong leadership, communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Skilled in onsite reporting (EDM/eWCAT preferred or ability to learn quickly).
  • Ability to work autonomously, solve technical challenges and balance operational priorities with business objectives.
