We are working with our Tier 1 mining client, seeking an Accounts Payable Clerk to join them on an initial 6-month contract.

Description:
- Managing individual vendor accounts with ownership and attention to detail
- Manage high-volume invoice processing with a strong focus on accuracy and payment deadlines.
- Proactively maintaining a high-volume inbox to keep communications flowing
- Performing weekly and/or monthly reconciliations of vendor statements as required
- Maintain open and consistent communication channels with suppliers and internal teams
- Proven experience working within a large Accounts Payable team
- Demonstrated ability to accurately process a high volume of invoices
- Capable of handling and responding to high volumes of email queries
- Highly organized with strong interpersonal and time management abilities
- Working knowledge of SAP preferred, but not essential
- Demonstrated ability to quickly and efficiently learn new systems and procedures
- Comfortable and confident in engaging with suppliers and internal stakeholders
- Able to work autonomously, yet proactive in asking for support as required
