Accounts Payable Clerk

We are working with our Tier 1 mining client, seeking an Accounts Payable Clerk to join them on an initial 6-month contract.
Description:

• Managing individual vendor accounts with ownership and attention to detail
• Manage high-volume invoice processing with a strong focus on accuracy and payment deadlines.
• Proactively maintaining a high-volume inbox to keep communications flowing
• Performing weekly and/or monthly reconciliations of vendor statements as required
• Maintain open and consistent communication channels with suppliers and internal teams

Qualifications and skills:

• Proven experience working within a large Accounts Payable team
• Demonstrated ability to accurately process a high volume of invoices
• Capable of handling and responding to high volumes of email queries
• Highly organized with strong interpersonal and time management abilities
• Working knowledge of SAP preferred, but not essential
• Demonstrated ability to quickly and efficiently learn new systems and procedures
• Comfortable and confident in engaging with suppliers and internal stakeholders
• Able to work autonomously, yet proactive in asking for support as required
