Job title: Administrative Assistant (Senior)
Location: Hardisty, Alberta
Contract length: 01 year
Start date: April 22nd, 2024
Schedule: Mon-Fri (40 hours/week) Hybrid

Responsibilities:
  • Provide a wide variety of administrative support to an organizational unit or department.
  • Lead budget preparation and control activities.
  • Assist in the preparation and control of records, statistics, and report regarding operations,
  • personnel changes, etc.
  • Administer processes, programs, databases specific to the operating area.
  • Serve as liaison with others within and outside the company regarding administrative issues related to purchasing, personnel, facilities, and operations for the department.
  • Maintain and order office supply inventory.
  • Coordinate/plan and schedule technician training in collaboration with head office team and local training vendors.
  • Plan departmental events, provide technology support and troubleshooting to team members, maintain schedules, book meetings and travel arrangements, facilitate payments of invoices, support leaders and team members with time entry and expense reports, conduct research for leaders or team members, etc.
  • Provide confidential support to Operations area manager, maintenance lead and operations lead.
  • Manage capital tool request, approval and order program and maintenance and reporting associated with federal hours of work permit.

Minimum Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma
  • 6+ years’ experience
  • Advanced in MS Office
  • Ability to multi-task

Requirement:
  • Consistent periodic presence at both locations will be required - between Oil Operations Terminal in Hardisty, AB and Area Office in Wainwright, AB.
