Job Summary
  • We are seeking a skilled Automation Telecommunication Specialist to join our team.
  • The successful candidate will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of all network equipment and infrastructure that supports the Automation network.
  • This includes network switches, radios, fiber optic infrastructure, and PLC to PLC communications.
Key Responsibilities
  • Installation: Set up and configure network switches, radios, fiber optic infrastructure, and PLC to PLC communication systems to ensure seamless integration with the Automation network.
  • Programming: Develop and implement programming solutions for network equipment to optimize performance and reliability.
  • Maintenance: Perform regular maintenance and updates on all network equipment to ensure optimal functionality and prevent downtime.
  • Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve issues related to network equipment and infrastructure, ensuring minimal disruption to the Automation network.
  • Automation Systems: Work with automation systems such as OPC servers, GIS programs, and Solarwinds for monitoring and managing network performance.
Qualifications
  • Proven experience in the installation, programming, maintenance, and troubleshooting of network equipment and infrastructure.
  • Strong knowledge of network switches, radios, fiber optic infrastructure, and PLC to PLC communications.
  • Experience with automation systems such as OPC servers, GIS programs, and Solarwinds for monitoring.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
Preferred Skills
  • Experience with automation networks and related technologies.
  • Certifications in relevant areas such as networking or telecommunications.
