Due to the increases in autonomous vehicles used in the mining industry, NES Fircroft are recruiting Autonomous Fleet Specialists to join the team with one of the biggest names in WA mining.
These positions are starting on a contract, with the opportunity to move into FTE.

Due to the increases in autonomous vehicles used in the mining industry, NES Fircroft are recruiting Autonomous Fleet Specialists to join the team with one of the biggest names in WA mining.
These positions are starting on a contract, with the opportunity to move into FTE.
Key Responsibilities
- Install and configure hardware, electrical and network technology systems on various Heavy Mining Equipment assets, CAT, Liebherr, Minestar, Terrain systems
- Calibrate and commission the GPS, AHS and Fleet systems on various HME and LV assets
- Coach and develop employees within the maintenance team on best practice for maintaining the technology layers
- Ensure setup of the fleet management system is optimised to deliver maximum fleet efficiency and meet Mine Plan requirements
- Undertake in depth fault diagnosis and repairs on Caterpillar and Flanders technology products
Requirements:
- Must hold Trade qualification as Auto Electrician, Automotive HD Fitting or Communications Technology.
- Driving License
- White Card
- Minimum 3 years’ experience working in a heavy mobile mining environment with related technology
- Minimum 2 years’ experience with Caterpillar MineStar products, with Command and/or Terrain training and experience a must, and Caterpillar 793F base machines
- Experience with Flanders technology products (preferred)
- Ability to read and interpret electronic schematics and technical specifications
- Ability to utilise Caterpillar SIS and ET
- Excellent communication skills (written, verbal and interpersonal)
- National police clearance (within 6 months)
