As an Auxiliary Operator, you will play a crucial role in supporting the safe and efficient operation of our Power Plant and its equipment.
Your responsibilities will include conducting routine water/gas chemistry analysis, monitoring operating components, and assisting in facility maintenance.
You will work closely with the Operations Manager and Control Room Operator to ensure the reliability and continuous operability of equipment.

Your responsibilities will include conducting routine water/gas chemistry analysis, monitoring operating components, and assisting in facility maintenance.
You will work closely with the Operations Manager and Control Room Operator to ensure the reliability and continuous operability of equipment.
Required Skills:
- Strong understanding of health and safety protocols, including Permit to Work and Contractor Safety
- Ability to operate and maintain Power Plant equipment
- Proficiency in chemical-pumping system operations for optimal chemistry control
- Experience in mechanical work and electrical repair activities
- Knowledge of preventive maintenance actions and routine repairs
- Familiarity with chemical handling and emergency maintenance procedures
- Associate Degree in a technical field
- Previous experience in a Power Plant environment
- Aptitude in math and mechanical/electrical abilities
- Theoretical and practical knowledge of combustion-turbine operations
- Experience with piping and instrument schematics
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Associate Degree in a technical field preferred
- Experience in a Power Plant environment, ideally as a Power Plant Technician
- Familiarity with high-pressure turbines and combustion turbines
- Ability to lift up to fifty (50) pounds and work in physically demanding conditions
- Willingness to work extended hours, varied shifts, weekends, and holidays as needed
- Comfort with wearing protective equipment for certain tasks
- Flexibility for "on-call" status periodically
