Business Lead

Position Overview: The role is responsible for serving as the “voice of the business” through transformation and project implementation, while also inspiring a positive change management approach throughout the organization. Responsibilities:

• Coordinate project activities with Quantum Leap System Integrator counterparts

 

• Assure the on-time and effective delivery of fit-for-purpose project deliverables

 

• Coordination and facilitation of process design workshops for business processes related to PPM and CPM, including identification of custom workflows, reports, interfaces, conversions, enhancements, and forms (WRICEFs) required to meet specific business requirements.

 

• Ensuring required WRICEF items are appropriately vetted through established governance mechanisms, including technical review with SAP resources and approval.

 

• Review of and facilitating formal approval by business stakeholders of design deliverables, including Signavio process flow diagrams, Solution Design Documents (SDDs), and Functional Requirements and Specifications (FRS) documents for WRICEF items.
• Coordination and facilitation of solution walkthroughs with business stakeholders of the configured solution to ensure the solution has been built to documented specifications and meets business requirements.

 

• Support for System Integration Testing (SIT) and User Acceptance Testing (UAT), including the review of associated test scripts, evaluation of identified testing defects, and follow-up to ensure defects are adequately resolved. 

 

• Collaboration and support for Organization Change Management activities, including review and potentially delivery of training content for end users.

 

• Support for data migration and mock cutover activities associated with the PPM, CPM, and PS scope of work.

 

• Support for Hypercare activities after Go-Live of the PPM, CPM, and PS solutions.
• Work collaboratively with counterparts across the Quantum Leap Business Transformation team to ensure successful project delivery
• Promote a culture of results delivery, collaboration, integrity, and mutual respect throughout the organization

Experience and Qualifications: Required Education and Experience:

• Minimum 5+ years of experience with managing projects using SAP Project Systems and/or EPPM, preferably in downstream oil & gas
• Experience as both a business user and a technical user of SAP Project Systems and/or EPPM a plus
• Associate or bachelor’s degree in relevant education

• Proven track record of delivering results through the effective application of technology
• Ability to communicate effectively and build strong professional relationships at all levels in the organization
