Position Overview: We are seeking a skilled and motivated Chemical Engineer with 5–10 years of experience to support operations in water treatment and ammonia storage systems. The ideal candidate will bring strong technical expertise, excellent communication skills, and a collaborative mindset to work closely with operations, maintenance, reliability, and management teams.

Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor and optimize water treatment systems including pretreatment, reverse osmosis (RO), and cooling towers.
- Oversee ammonia storage systems including tanks, pumps, refrigeration compressors, condensers, and flare systems.
- Troubleshoot process issues and provide operational support in the above areas.
- Manage media and resin changes to maintain high water quality standards.
- Support capital projects related to water treatment and ammonia storage systems.
- Assist in closing corrective actions with technical input.
- Participate in Process Safety Management (PSM) activities including Management of Change (MOC), Process Hazard Analyses (PHA), and Pre-Startup Safety Reviews (PSSR).
- Provide simulation and design support using tools such as Aspen HYSYS, HTRI, and PipeFlo for small heat exchanger projects.
- Be available to support 12-hour shifts during ammonia plant startup, alternating with the plant engineer.
- Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering (required).
- 5–10 years of relevant experience (flexible for strong candidates).
- TWIC card or ability to obtain one quickly.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Proficiency in simulation software (Aspen HYSYS, HTRI, PipeFlo).
- Experience in water treatment and ammonia systems is highly preferred.
