Civil Engineer

Job Type: Fixed-Term (6 Months)
Location: Southwest Ontario (on-site)
About the Role
We're looking for an experienced Civil Engineer to join our client's team on a major project in Ontario. In this owner-sided position, you will oversee the planning and execution of civil works, including site preparation, foundation construction, underground utilities, pilling, and road infrastructure development.

Key Responsibilities

    • Lead and oversee civil design and planning for site development and infrastructure
    • Conduct feasibility studies and risk assessments
    • Monitor contractor performance and construction progress
    • Ensure quality control and compliance with regulatory standards
    • Coordinate with internal teams, contractors, and stakeholders to ensure project alignment
      Required Qualifications
        • Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related field
        • Professional Engineer (P. Eng.) designation in Ontario is highly desirable
        • 10+ years of experience in large-scale civil projects
        • Strong knowledge of relevant codes, standards, and permitting processes
        • Proven experience in owner-side project oversight
        • Excellent leadership, communication, and coordination skills
