We are seeking a seasoned Civil Project Engineer to support the planning, execution, and oversight of civil works for a major hydropower dam and pumped storage project. This includes critical infrastructure such as the dam, powerhouse, intake and outlet structures, tunnels, roads, and ancillary facilities. The role ensures that construction activities comply with design specifications, safety standards, and project timelines, while maintaining close coordination with contractors, consultants, and internal teams.

Job Overview
We are seeking a seasoned Civil Project Engineer to support the planning, execution, and oversight of civil works for a major hydropower dam and pumped storage project. This includes critical infrastructure such as the dam, powerhouse, intake and outlet structures, tunnels, roads, and ancillary facilities. The role ensures that construction activities comply with design specifications, safety standards, and project timelines, while maintaining close coordination with contractors, consultants, and internal teams.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Minimum 15 years of relevant experience, ideally in hydropower. Experience in water treatment, pump station operations, or large-scale water infrastructure will also be considered.
- Reports directly to the Project Managers and requires deep expertise in hydropower or related infrastructure.
- Hands-on experience in heavy civil works—preferably in hydropower or large-scale infrastructure—and must be willing to work fully onsite.
- Supervise and monitor daily civil construction activities within assigned work areas.
- Coordinate with contractors and site teams to ensure compliance with approved plans, drawings, and technical specifications.
- Conduct site inspections, track progress, and report on construction milestones and issues.
- Review construction drawings, method statements, material submittals, and RFIs; escalate concerns to the Civil Lead or Project Manager.
- Support QA/QC inspections and ensure all work meets required standards.
- Maintain accurate documentation including reports, logs, inspection forms, and as-built drawings.
- Collaborate with geotechnical, structural, electro-mechanical, and environmental teams for integrated site execution.
- Enforce site safety protocols and monitor EHS (Environment, Health & Safety) compliance.
- Assist in resolving technical issues onsite in coordination with engineers, foremen, and contractors.
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly reports for project leadership and stakeholders.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering; PRC license preferred but not mandatory.
- Proven experience in civil site works such as excavation, concreting, rebar installation, slope protection, and drainage.
- Familiarity with relevant codes and standards (e.g., DPWH, ASTM, ACI).
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, AutoCAD, and project tracking tools (e.g., MS Project, Primavera).
- Minimum of 15 years of civil engineering experience in hydropower or large-scale infrastructure projects (e.g., dams, tunnels, power plants, highways).
- Willing to work 100% onsite, with flexibility to be assigned to Rizal or Laguna.
- Strong coordination, documentation, and communication skills.
- Proactive, detail-oriented, and committed to safety and quality standards.
