NES Fircroft is proud to partner with a leading Tier 1 mining company in the search for an experienced Civil Project Manager to join their high-performing team.
This position is offered as an initial 6-month contract, with a strong possibility of extension due to a strong pipeline of projects. The successful candidate will be based in the Brisbane office during the study phase and transition to a FIFO arrangement during project execution.

Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the full lifecycle of civil infrastructure projects, from concept and feasibility through to execution and close-out.
- Coordinate with multidisciplinary engineering teams and stakeholders to ensure project objectives, technical requirements, and timelines are met.
- Oversee the development of detailed civil designs, ensuring alignment with project scope and regulatory standards.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant safety, environmental, and industry regulations.
- Monitor project performance, budgets, and schedules, providing regular updates and reports to senior leadership.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering.
- Highly desirable: experience in the design and/or construction of water or tailings dams.
- Demonstrated experience in project delivery within the mining sector.
- Proven experience delivering projects through a typical capital delivery framework.
- Extensive experience managing the development and review of civil design packages.
