Description:
  • Perform field inspections using portable CMM metrology equipment (laser trackers and articulated arms) with 3D CAD inspection software to obtain dimensional and alignment data.
  • Generate & complete CMM inspection reports and recommend corrective actions.
  • Undertake planning and implementation of CMM inspection requirements to facilitate the installation, maintenance, and repair of industrial mechanical equipment.
  • Travelling throughout Western Canada, working extended hours, staying in hotels, camps etc.
Qualifications:
  • Experience using a stationary or portable Coordinate Measuring Machine
  • 3D CAD software knowledge, Mastercam preferred.
  • Blueprint reading skills and good understanding of GD&T
  • Practical knowledge of Microsoft Office
  • Familiar with mechanical equipment used in the mining, oil and gas, petrochemical, and power generation industry.
  • Experienced Mechanical Engineering Technologist or Mechanical Draftsman is an asset.

  • Have a valid Class 5 Driver’s License with clean abstract.
  • Be able to travel out of town and work overtime hours (aprox. 80% of the time)
  • Be able to pass industry standard drug and alcohol test.
  • Possess H2S Alive, First Aid and CSTS-09 or 2020 tickets.
