NES Fircroft are partnering with a global resources client who are after 2x Condition Monitoring Specialists / Asset Health Evaluator to join their Perth Based team. This is initially a 6 month contract with a likely extension.
 
The Role:
 
Perth based role Monday to Friday 8 hours per day
As the Specialist Asset Health Evaluator, you will utilise your expert knowledge of fixed plant mining equipment and condition monitoring to perform analysis on Asset Health information trends. You will work to maximise warning time and drive action with stakeholders to prevent failure or performance degradation of equipment.
 
Duties and responsibilities will include:
 
  • Review Asset Health condition information such as Oil Analysis, Vibration and FMS health data as well as the outputs of automated predictive models.
  • Review SAP work history to gain holistic understanding of equipment condition
  • Create work notifications in SAP for remediation of equipment condition
  • Collaborate with site based teams on planned and corrective work decision making processes to improve equipment health
  • Test and provide feedback on predictive model performance and improvement opportunities
  • Liaise with condition monitoring service vendors such as oil analysis laboratories
  • Drive improvement of the Asset Performance Management (APM) system for Asset Health evaluation workflows
 
 
The Requirements:
 
  • Fixed plant mining equipment experience (Conveyors, Mills, Cyclones, Stacker Reclaimers etc)
  • A specialist in vibration analysis
  • Strong communication skills and experience giving recommendations to the operations team.
