NES Fircroft has partnered with a Tier 1 mining client for a number of Construction Advisor roles across multi-disciplinary projects within the Iron Ore space.
The position will be reporting directly to the Superintendent Construction and requires Construction Advisor/Supervisor experience where your leadership, contractor management and project experience will ensure the project is delivered in a safe, timely and efficient manner.
Your role:
  • Support the safe delivery of business-critical projects from Feasibility, implementation and handover;
    • Collaborate with the project delivery team, including the Project Leads, Contractors and Safety and Quality Advisors to ensure seamless execution;
    • Ensure compliance with Risk Policies, Standards and Safe Work Practices for allocated construction activities;
    • Liaise with operational areas with regards to coordination between major shutdown and tie-ins and operational requirements;
    • Ensure all incidents are reported, investigated and actions are implemented accordingly;
    • Undertake quality Leadership in the Field interactions;
About you:
  • Strong capability in project delivery across civil, electrical, structural, and shutdown works. While subject matter expertise in a specific field is not a core requirement for this role, it is considered beneficial;
    • Strong people skills, with the ability to work with Contractors;
    • Interpret and implement systems, processes and procedures;
    • Able to work effectively in changing environments;
    • Problem solve complex situations;
    • Conflict resolution;
    • Coached, mentored or supervised a team;
    • Excellent communication skills with an ability to build positive and trusting relationships across a wide range of stakeholders;
    • A current ‘C’ class driver’s license.
 
This role will only be considering those with Australian mining experience and full-time working rights.
