Position Summary
Contractor Company is seeking a seasoned Construction Manager to oversee field operations and ensure the successful execution of cable installation and related construction activities on the Client’s LNG project. The Construction Manager will be responsible for managing site teams, coordinating with subcontractors, and ensuring work is performed safely, on schedule, and to the highest quality standards. Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and manage all on-site construction activities related to cable installation, trenching, conduit systems, and terminations.
  • Coordinate with engineering, procurement, and project management teams to ensure alignment of construction plans and schedules.
  • Supervise subcontractors and Contractor field crews, ensuring compliance with safety, quality, and contractual requirements.
  • Monitor progress and performance, identifying and resolving issues that may impact timelines or budgets.
  • Ensure strict adherence to Client LNG’s site protocols and Contractor’s construction standards.
  • Conduct regular site inspections and safety audits in collaboration with the Safety Coordinator.
  • Review and approve work permits, method statements, and risk assessments.
  • Maintain accurate daily reports, progress tracking, and documentation of site activities.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for construction-related matters with the client and other stakeholders.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Minimum 7–10 years of experience in construction management, preferably in energy, industrial, or infrastructure projects.
  • Proven experience managing cable installation or electrical infrastructure projects.
  • Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Proficiency in construction scheduling tools (e.g., Primavera P6, MS Project) and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Familiarity with OSHA regulations and site safety practices.

Preferred:
  • Experience working on LNG or large-scale industrial projects.
  • Knowledge of cables, products and installation methodologies.
  • PMP or CM certification is a plus.


Working Conditions
  • Field-based at construction facility sites.
  • Requires strict adherence to safety protocols and PPE usage.
  • May involve extended hours, night shifts, or weekend work depending on project demands.
