Our valued client is seeking Process Operators in Fort Saskatchewan, AB for a short term contract. Candidates local to the area are preferred.
Responsibilities:
- Based on incumbent experience and qualification there will be opportunity to signoff and assume responsibility in an operating post in the Refinery to operate the unit in a run and maintain function to support the production unit (PU)
- The Process Operator will ensure safe and efficient operation of the process unit in their designated area, through the delivery of Ensure Safe Production (ESP) fundamentals and all Company Safe Work Practices.
- Support maintenance activities which includes equipment prep, field walk downs, permitting, commissioning and startup.
- Responsible to participate in operation meetings and support shift logging as defined in ESP.
Dimensions:
- Minimum Requirement of a 4th Class Steam Ticket
- The successful candidate must be physically fit and able to climb ladders, stairs, scaffolds, perform pre-commissioning and commissioning activities
- The successful candidate will come to site for orientation and bring with them suitable clothing (Fire Retardant Clothing) and footwear (CSA approved work boot 6 inch ankle coverage)
