About the Role
We are seeking a Contracts Specialist to support both Project and Functional Departments with day-to-day commercial and procurement activities. This role is pivotal in managing commercial processes from pre-award through to contract close-out, ensuring compliance with contractual, legal, and procedural standards.

About the Role
We are seeking a Contracts Specialist to support both Project and Functional Departments with day-to-day commercial and procurement activities. This role is pivotal in managing commercial processes from pre-award through to contract close-out, ensuring compliance with contractual, legal, and procedural standards.
Key Responsibilities Functional Support
- Assist the Contracts Principal in refining commercial processes and policies.
- Support functional teams with procurement and contract administration.
- Maintain functional contract registers and contribute to weekly business meetings.
- Provide commercial support for two active iron ore feasibility studies.
- Draft contracts and purchase orders.
- Coordinate tender evaluations and shortlist candidates.
- Prepare and issue tender packages, manage RFIs, and evaluate returns.
- Negotiate and close out contractual departures.
- Draft recommendation for award documentation and prepare contracts for execution.
- Assess monthly payment claims in line with SOPA.
- Evaluate variations and claims per contract and policy.
- Maintain project contract registers and ensure timely awards.
- Support end-of-month reporting and live register updates.
