A leading Tier 1 mining operator is seeking a skilled Contract Specialist to join their Brisbane CBD team for a significant civil project. This contract role is set to commence in mid to late May and will run through to November, with a strong likelihood of extension into the execution phase and beyond. High likelihood of extension past this point should the project reach the execution stage.

A leading Tier 1 mining operator is seeking a skilled Contract Specialist to join their Brisbane CBD team for a significant civil project. This contract role is set to commence in mid to late May and will run through to November, with a strong likelihood of extension into the execution phase and beyond. High likelihood of extension past this point should the project reach the execution stage.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the end-to-end tender process for a large-scale civil bulk earthworks project.
- Oversee contract administration during the execution phase, anticipated to begin in October.
- Conduct fortnightly site visits to the Bowen Basin to engage with on-site stakeholders.
- Collaborate closely with project teams to ensure contractual obligations are met and risks are mitigated.
- Proven experience in managing large-scale tender processes within the civil construction or mining sectors.
- Strong background in contract management during project execution phases.
- Strong experience of both pre and post award contract management
- Quantity Surveying (QS) background or similar experience is highly regarded.
- Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
