About You
- Degree qualified Control Systems Engineering degree with demonstrated experience in supporting clients in the Iron Ore industry of WA
- Strong understanding of Ethernet/DeviceNet communications (desirable).
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
- Detail-oriented with strong analytical capabilities.
- Proven hands-on experience with: Allen Bradley PLCs, Flex 5000 remote I/O, E300 motor protection relays, Siemens LV drive configuration, Programming, testing, and commissioning in WA iron ore projects
Job Role
- Design, develop, and implement control systems for industrial applications.
- Ensure systems meet performance, safety, and reliability standards.
- Collaborate with other engineering disciplines to develop and update functional specifications, testing plans, and commissioning documentation.
- Interpret P&IDs, electrical schematics, and other technical documentation.
- Support on-site commissioning and troubleshooting activities.
- Apply functional safety practices and ensure compliance with relevant standards.
