Control Systems Engineer
NES Fircroft a partnering with a globally leading EPCM client to support a tier 1 iron ore miner across a Major WA project during an exciting period of growth.

About You
  • Degree qualified Control Systems Engineering degree with demonstrated experience in supporting clients in the Iron Ore industry of WA
  • Strong understanding of Ethernet/DeviceNet communications (desirable).
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Detail-oriented with strong analytical capabilities.
  • Proven hands-on experience with: Allen Bradley PLCs, Flex 5000 remote I/O, E300 motor protection relays, Siemens LV drive configuration, Programming, testing, and commissioning in WA iron ore projects
 
Job Role
  • Design, develop, and implement control systems for industrial applications.
  • Ensure systems meet performance, safety, and reliability standards.
  • Collaborate with other engineering disciplines to develop and update functional specifications, testing plans, and commissioning documentation.
  • Interpret P&IDs, electrical schematics, and other technical documentation.
  • Support on-site commissioning and troubleshooting activities.
  • Apply functional safety practices and ensure compliance with relevant standards.
