We are seeking an experienced Accounting Cost & Capital Analyst to prepare cost reports and forecasts. This will be accomplished through communication and collaboration with colleagues, thorough analysis of costs and variances, and timely and accurate reporting. In addition, this role is responsible for review and set-up of projects in SAP.

What you’ll do:
• Prepare business unit cost and capital reports, including variance analysis
• Present results and explain variances to internal management
• Reporting and analysis of employee count
• Communicate accounting processes/procedures to with internal Liquids Business Unit
personnel.
• Compile and input departmental and project forecasts into the Business, Planning and
Consolidation (BPC) system
• Maintain cost reporting hierarchies in BPC
• Prepare cost budgets for certain pipelines
• Prepare and post monthly journal entries
• Other ad hoc projects and analysis as required

Preferred qualifications:
• Developed communication, interpersonal and organizational skills
• Excellent analytical/reconciliation skills
• Strong computer skills, especially Excel, and good working knowledge of SAP, BPC, PowerPlan, Microsoft Dynamics 365 and Power BI would be an asset
• Strong time management skills, with the ability to perform effectively under tight deadlines with multiple priorities

Location: Calgary - Canadá
Contract Duration:  9 months.
