Data Scientist

If you have Data Science experience and are seeking a new job in Paris, hybrid based, NES Fircroft wants to hear from you. Our client is looking for a contract Data Scientist to collect, clean, and prepare data.


As a Data Scientist, you will extract, analyse, and perform valuation of data from various sources to solve business problems or create new opportunities. You will also design, develop, test, and deploy data science models adapted to business issues using various approaches (Optimisation, Machine Learning, Computer Vision, Generative AI, etc.)


During your first few weeks in this Data Scientist role, you can expect to:

• Master Data Exploration techniques to collect, clean, and prepare data with a posture that aims to support the business in the ideation phase
• Perform exploratory and descriptive data analysis, using statistics and visualisations, to identify trends, correlations, anomalies, and opportunities for optimisation or value creation
• Comply with MLops best practices (versioning, monitoring, CI/CD, etc) to ensure the quality, reliability, and security of models in production
• Document and present the results of analyses and models to internal stakeholders using appropriate materials (reports, dashboards, etc)
• Participate in the design/maintenance of new tools/packages common to the organization

To apply for this Data Scientist role, your soft skills, expertise, and experience should include:

• The ability to collect, clean, and analyse structured or unstructured data
• Mastery of statistical and mathematical tools, mastery of programming languages (Python preferred), and underlying data processing libraries
• Familiarity with data science frameworks and libraries such as Scikit-learn, TensorFlow, PyTorch, Keras, etc, and knowledge of advanced AI methods such as deep learning, NLP, computer vision, or optimization/operations research
• Good command of git, a first experience in a DevOps context (CI/CD, with GitHub or similar), and an appetite for software craftmanship/clean code
• Knowledge of micro-services, experience in AWS/Azure cloud technologies, and experience in French architecture
• Fluency in French and English
