Delivery Manager

NES Fircroft are looking for a Delivery Manager to join a major operator on a 28/28 rotation in Iraq.

Main Responsibilities:

• Responsible for the activities of Projects and coordinates with relevant contractors and departments. Assists the Projects Manager to execute and achieve the Projects target. Co-ordinates with engineering, procurement, construction. Reviews PMC management system to meet with the Projects requirement.
• Reports to the Projects Manager; He/she will work closely with the projects discipline engineers and contractors on the implementation of projects and applicable HSE, engineering, procurement, construction and integrity projects performance.
• Identifies, reviews and establishes functional roles for ROO projects discipline engineers in line with requirements of each project. Directs and provides guidance for the projects management and supervision to the Projects Manager.
• Checks and ensures satisfactory performance of the PMC engineers in accordance with the project’s requirements.
• Manages and oversees the functional performance of the PMC.
• Reviews Weekly Plan/ schedule and feedback comments accordingly, Monitors master program and tracks critical paths and milestones for Project execution.
• Monitors contractor’s performance to assure the contract is being in the track and the Scope of Work is being fully implemented in term of cost, schedule and scope.
• Follows up and monitor NDT status and make sure that progress can be achieved.
• Coordinates with operations Department to make sure construction works properly.
• Schedules all the activities and ensures all resources and materials are available in advance.
• Organizes and Performances the mechanical completion procedure with operation engineers, which including such as walk down, issue of master punch list, monitors the items to be closed, final review, commissioning and handover to operation. 
• Ensures that the construction activities will be carried out in a safely manner and in accordance with to the project schedule.

Skills and Qualifications

• BSc in Projects, construction, engineering etc.
• More than 10 years of project relative experience in a variety of roles that demonstrates skills of leading to the discipline engineers & PMC management. 
• Relevant experience in successive roles includes Engineering design, contract strategy and contract management, project management.
• Good presentation and persuasion skills with effective communication skills demonstrated in internally and externally.

Other Key Requirements

• Strong communication skills including writing reports and presenting.
• High attention to detail.
• Familiar with transition from bulk commodity installation to system-oriented completion.
• Candidates should have knowledge and experience in project management processes.
• Previous experience of working within a multi-cultural and multi-discipline, multi-location environment, desirable.
