Position Summary

Contractor Client is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Document Controller to support the Client’s LNG project. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing all project documentation in compliance with Contractor and Client standards, ensuring accuracy, accessibility, and version control across all departments. Key Responsibilities:
  • Implement and maintain document control procedures in alignment with Contractor and Client’s LNG standards.
  • Manage the flow of documentation including engineering drawings, technical documents, correspondence, and vendor data.
  • Ensure timely distribution and retrieval of documents to/from internal teams, contractors, and clients.
  • Maintain the integrity and accuracy of the document management system (DMS), ensuring proper version control and traceability.
  • Support project teams with document formatting, numbering, and metadata tagging.
  • Coordinate with Client’s Document Control team to ensure alignment and compliance with project-wide standards.
  • Conduct regular audits to ensure documentation is complete, accurate, and up to date.
  • Provide training and support project personnel on document control processes and tools.
  • Assist in the preparation and handover of final project documentation and data books.
Qualifications:
  • 7+ years of experience in document control, preferably in the energy, construction, or cable manufacturing sectors.
  • Familiarity with document control systems such as Aconex, SharePoint, or similar platforms.
  • Strong understanding of ISO standards and project documentation lifecycle.
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced project environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
Preferred:
  • Experience working on LNG or large-scale infrastructure projects.
  • Knowledge of Contractor Cables’ products and documentation standards.
  • Familiarity with Client LNG’s documentation protocols.


Working Conditions
  • Field-based at construction facility sites.
  • Requires strict adherence to safety protocols and PPE usage.
  • May involve extended hours, night shifts, or weekend work depending on project demands.
