Job description Responsibilities & Qualifications of the Drafter Designer Supervisor include, but are not limited to
  • Reverse engineering (hand dims & scans)
  • Parametric modeling / free form surfaces
  • The drafting pieces need to be highly proficient in AutoCAD/Inventor, with a primary focus on 3D modeling.
  • Experience and knowledge in the rotating equipment industry a plus
    Impellers and blade/airfoils experience a plus
Preferred skills:
  • Impeller modeling on single and mulit-vaned components
Job duties to include:
  • Managing quality and efficiency
  • Managing accuracy of drawings, CAD models, and machining instructions
  • Managing recruitment and training to build the strongest team possible
  • Managing the departments backlog by properly scheduling work to meet the demands or needs of the overall project completion target
  • Be the voice the department for all internal discussions as well as customer interactions
