NES Fircroft are delighted to be supportiong a major operator and JV with the position of E&I Delivery manager, where the successful service provider will be involved with one of the Largest oilfields located in Basra, Iraq. This role holds an expected duration of 2+ years, open to renewals and extensions, and will be completed on a 28 x28 rotation.
Role Synopsis:
• E&I Delivery Manager is a key member of the project leadership team and will be expected to manage the project E&I scope, schedule and budget in accordance with the design intent and to the HSE requirements that meet operability targets agreed with the Project Manager.
Main Responsibilities:
• Liaise on a day to day basis with the Project Manager for the effective management of the project.
• Provide HSE Leadership and work with the contractor to deliver fully expectations on HSE.
• Multi- discipline interface management between Projects, Operations and Main Execution Contractor
• Liaison with General Engineering Contractor to ensure all aspects of the brownfield construction and integration activities are planned and sequenced in accordance with the master plan.
• Liaising on day to day basis with the General Construction Management Contractor (GCMC) to ensure Construction is managed in a safe and timely manner.
• Review the delivery plan in conjunction with the selected execution Contractor to ensure all procurement and Engineering support is provided throughout the project.
• Demonstrate a pragmatic approach and risk-based approach to solving interface deficiencies.
• Assist with Projects Risk management and facilitate appropriate planning and actions accordingly
• Input to all aspects of planning the works and manage the risk register in conjunction with the Project Manager.
• Manage all weekly and monthly reporting to Management ensuring consistent formats and data across all work fronts.
• Attending Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT’s).
• Review of Engineering Contractors AFC design documents.
• Participation in Electrical systems Hazops, Safops, as required.
• Specifying and raising Purchase Orders for required Electrical Safety equipment and Electrical Test Equipment.
• Attending project meetings as required.
• Approving isolation processes for HV systems.
• Providing engineering assistance to the construction contractor for resolution of electrical issues, etc.
• Witnessing and approving site acceptance tests.
• Review and acceptance of contractor supplied procedures and activities for installation of all Electrical equipment.
• Responsible for the safety & management of all Suppliers’ representatives when on-site for the commissioning works of subsequent items of equipment.
• Compilation of all necessary reports as/when required.
