Job Summary:
Automation and control production company is looking for an entry level and or experienced technician for constructing, mechanical assembly, wiring and testing of outdoor modular control buildings.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Must be able to work in a fast paced environment with the ability to get things done on schedule. Duties will include but not limited to: Heavy cleaning, heavy lifting (50lbs), able to work off ladder, heavy pulling, fork-lift operation, preparation for shipping. Mounting electrical panels, drilling, tapping, working with steel, torqueing, precise measuring. Read construction and electrical blueprints, routing electrical and communication cables, wire electrical panels. System checks include: testing connections, verifying device communications, conform system to customer standards, and factory quality testing.
Qualifications and Skills
Must have Associate degree or equivalent experience in electrical technology.
Candidates must have positive attitude, can follow instructions/directions, reliable person, reliable attendance, willing to work in a team environment, willing to do many different jobs, able to focus. Candidates must have experience in construction and electrical wiring. Candidates must have knowledge in DC wiring control systems, AC circuit wiring. Candidate must be able to troubleshoot basic mechanical and full electrical control system.
Additional requirements
Available for TRAVELING up to 4 weeks at a time is required.
