NES Fircroft are partnering with a tier 1 resources client to source an Electrical Designer to join their Decarbonisation projects team focusing in site electrification.

- 12 month initial contract with longer term opportunity
- Work on cuttingedge decarbonisation infrastructure projects in a fast paced, innovative and collaborative environment
- Perthbased office with flexible work arrangements considered
- Proven experience in Electrical Design ideally within HV Substation and Renewable energy
- Proficiency in delivering projects utilising 2D/3D design in Openbuildings Designer, Aecosim or Microstation.
- Excellent attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple requirements and prioritise as required
- Strong understanding of Australian drafting standards and industry practices
Job Role
- Develop 2D single line diagrams, schematics, and termination drawings, general arrangements and layout drawings
- Perform 3D modelling of substations, switchrooms, renewable assets as well as design of cable routing and layouts
- Collaborate with engineers and designers to ensure design accuracy and compliance
- Ensure designs presented are adhering to required Australian engineering standards
