Position: Electrical Inspector
Location: Platteville, CO
Role Overview:The Electrical Inspector is responsible for overseeing the installation and inspection of electrical systems on-site, ensuring all work meets safety, quality, and regulatory standards. This role plays a key part in supporting operational goals and maintaining a safe, compliant work environment.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Monitor and inspect electrical work to ensure compliance with safety regulations and company standards.
  • Act as the on-site representative for all electrical-related activities.
  • Provide accurate daily reports on progress, site conditions, and safety topics.
  • Ensure construction crews follow company policies and procedures.
  • Conduct safety audits and verify proper documentation (e.g., JSA, hot work permits, trench inspections).
  • Inspect and document all electrical-related welds and installations.
  • Maintain clear communication with foremen and other stakeholders.
  • Lead by example in promoting a strong safety culture.
  • Address and report any incidents, injuries, or unsafe conditions immediately.
  • Maintain control during simultaneous operations and ensure clear communication among all inspectors.
  • Suggest improvements and support continuous improvement efforts.
Qualifications & Attributes:
  • 2+ years of oil field experience.
  • Colorado Electrical Journeyman’s license required.
  • Strong knowledge of production facilities and electrical systems.
  • Ability to oversee contractors during scheduled work hours.
  • Familiarity with construction drawings and P&IDs.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills.
  • Proactive approach to safety and problem-solving.
