Job Title: Electrical Maintenance Technician II
Department: Operations – Maintenance
Overview:
We are seeking a qualified Electrical Maintenance Technician II to support field electrical maintenance operations, including electrical isolation procedures (Lock Out Tag Out - LOTO) for lighting, HVAC systems, and motor maintenance. This role focuses on executing both preventive and corrective maintenance tasks to ensure minimal disruption to operations and maximize equipment availability. The position typically reports to a Maintenance Supervisor.

This role focuses on executing both preventive and corrective maintenance tasks to ensure minimal disruption to operations and maximize equipment availability. The position typically reports to a Maintenance Supervisor.
Key Responsibilities:
In addition to the responsibilities of a Level I Technician, this role includes:
- Performing low and high voltage electrical isolations and lock-offs.
- Adhering to all safety and operational standards and procedures.
- Initiating and managing work permits within required timeframes.
- Documenting maintenance activities for reliability tracking and analysis.
- Participating in root cause investigations and identifying reliability improvements.
- Creating work requests to address equipment and system issues.
- Assisting in the development and review of maintenance and operational procedures.
- Supporting new projects and commissioning activities as needed.
- Valid Journeyman or Master Electrician license is required.
- Proven experience in a similar role, preferably within the oil and gas or industrial sectors.
- Relevant certifications or equivalent hands-on experience in electrical maintenance.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to clearly report field conditions and suggest corrective actions.
- Collaborative team player with a proactive approach to supporting colleagues.
- Capable of managing tight deadlines, shifting priorities, and high workloads.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.).
