Engineer - Pipe Support Design

To strengthen our team, Aker Solutions team in Fornebu is looking for an Engineer - Pipe Support Design who can help us succeed.

What will you be doing? 

You will be working as Engineer - Pipe Support Design together with other colleagues in the Hugin A project, your responsibility includes but not limited to the following:

• Design and 3D modelling of pipe supports
• Pipe support calculations
• Coordinate the pipe support interfaces as necessary for assigned tasks
• Communication with client
• Ensure that interfaces towards other disciplines are handled in an efficient way
• Generate drawings and other documents according to project requirements
• Checking of pipe supports may also be required

We think you should have some of the following:

• BSc or MSc in relevant field
• Minimum 10 years’ experience in piping support design
• Experience with an offshore-related industry
• Knowledge of Aker Solutions’ CAP Support program is an advantage
• Previous experience with Aker Solutions’ Project Execution methodology is an advantage
• Software Skills: E3D, CAP Support
• Fluent English, written and spoken

Working location: Fornebu, Oslo
Contract duration: March 2025 with option for extension
