NES Fircroft are partnering with a global resources client who are looking for a GEOSPATIAL ANALYST to join the team
The Benefits:
- Opportunity to work for a Tier 1 Owner Miner in a Perth based role
- Hybrid working – up to 2 days wfh per week
- Competitive rate $90 - $100 per hr + super dependent on experience
- Immediate Start
The Role:
- 12 month Contract
Duties will include:
- Prepare spatial data for approval boundaries and disturbance footprints.
- Generate maps and figures showing project infrastructure, environmental
- Calculate disturbance metrics and compile data for approval submissions.
- Conduct geospatial modelling and statistical analysis to support impact
- Manage and QA/QC environmental datasets and support data uploads to internal systems.
You will be working with multiple stakeholders to include:
- Environment & Closure Team
- GIS, Decarbonisation, and Project Delivery Teams
- External stakeholders including DWER, DCCEEW, DEMIRS, and DBCA
The Requirements:
- Experience in Geospatial Analysis, ideally in the energy/resources
- Tertiary qualification in Geospatial Science, GIS, or a related field.
- Strong GIS software and spatial database skills.
- Experience with environmental and government datasets.
- Have full Australian work rights
