Title: Finance Analyst (Intermediate)
Location: Calgary
Schedule: 40 hours/week, Monday to Friday
Contract: 1-year – July 15 2025 to August 30 2026
Travel: 10%

Reporting to the Director of Investor Relations, this position will focus on sustaining and enhancing relationships with the investment community, thereby contributing to sustainable shareholder value creation. The responsibilities include developing comprehensive disclosure and investor communication materials that accurately reflect our financial performance, corporate strategy, and growth opportunities. Key duties encompass the preparation of investor presentations, news releases, reporting documents, quarterly earnings calls, and planning for investor day events.

Responsibilities
• Support the development, implementation and execution of the Company's Investor Relations program.
• Develop a strong working knowledge and understanding of company’s businesses, operations, and financial performance.
• Develop quarterly disclosure materials, including news releases, presentations, conference call scripts, corporate messaging, and Q&A documents for Executive Leadership Team.
• Create thoughtful and innovative presentation content for investor presentations, meetings, and conferences.
• Build strong relationships with the sell-side and buy-side investment communities and develop messaging and responses to analyst and investor requests in a timely manner.
• Monitor market trends, competitive landscape, and industry dynamics to provide insights that enhance investor understanding of the company's position and strategic direction.
• Collaborate with legal and compliance teams to ensure compliance with regulatory reporting and disclosure obligations.
• Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams including Business Units, Legal, Strategy, Finance, Planning, Treasury, Tax.
• Contribute to the preparation of presentation materials for Senior Management and Board of Directors.
• Ad hoc analysis as required

Qualifications and Education

Qualifications:
• Must be team oriented. We work on challenging projects as a team. Building and maintaining our strong culture in IR is of utmost importance.
• Strong foundation in the principles of economics, finance, and accounting and the ability to apply these principles to business situations.
• Excellent interpersonal skills to maintain relationships with investors, analysts and internal stakeholders.
• Strong written and verbal skills to develop and communicate messaging and responses to the market.
• Strong business acumen and demonstrated ability in working with financial models.
• Interest in capital markets combined with an understanding of the natural gas and power infrastructure businesses.
• Ability to handle multiple assignments on a timely basis, with a high degree of accuracy and integrity.
• Capability and flexibility to respond to time pressure by adjusting work hours to meet critical deadlines.

Education:
• 6 to 10 years of related and progressive industry / business experience
• University degree in Business, Commerce, or Engineering/Science
• Working towards or completion of one of the following professional designations is considered an asset: CFA, CBV, CPA or an MBA (finance)
