We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Credit Control Financial Administrator to support the Order to Cash (O2C) team within a major infrastructure and public services organization. The team consolidates administrative functions to improve quality, reduce cost, and enable operational teams to focus on their core tasks.

You will join a team responsible for accounts receivable management, helping to ensure the timely collection of payments across a wide customer base. The company issues over 750,000 invoices annually. While most are paid on time, some require additional follow-up—and that’s where you come in.

Key Responsibilities
  • Proactively follow up on unpaid invoices via phone and email

  • Engage with customers to resolve payment delays and help prevent future arrears

  • Determine the appropriate escalation strategy when initial efforts do not result in payment

  • Investigate and resolve process-related issues, and help prevent recurrence

  • Participate in operational improvement initiatives and small analyses (approx. 10% of your time)

  • Represent your team in working groups and act as a first point of contact for process-related queries

  • Handle frequent customer contact in a professional, service-oriented manner

Required Skills & Experience
  • MBO Level 4 or HBO-level education/work experience

  • Strong communication skills in Dutch, both spoken and written

  • Confident, persuasive, and able to follow up firmly but diplomatically

  • Experience with SAP; familiarity with Credit Manager is a strong plus

  • Background in credit control, accounts receivable, or collections

  • Able to identify process improvements that increase both efficiency and customer satisfaction

Personal Attributes
  • Energetic, positive, and action-oriented

  • Comfortable switching gears quickly and taking ownership of your work

  • Detail-focused, pragmatic, and customer-minded

  • Works well both independently and as part of a collaborative team

  • Resilient under pressure and open to new challenges
