Position Details

- Location: 4815 E Hwy 80, Midland, TX
- Schedule: Monday–Friday (5/2), 40 hours/week
- Target Pay Rate: $50–$52/hour
- Start Date: ASAP (targeting 9/9/2025)
- End Date: 1-year contract from start date
- Work Arrangement: In-office required; potential for hybrid schedule (not guaranteed)
- Local Hire: Required
- Meet & Greet: In-person preferred; Zoom available if needed
- Allowances: None required for this role
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with Flowback Foreman to prepare cost outlooks and input for well budgets (AFEs)
- Track ongoing costs, approve goods receipts, monitor execution manhours, and manage equipment logistics
- Support tank farm and fast-lining project execution
- Maintain and enhance Operations Support tools including SharePoint, Zoom tools, and checklists
- Assist in developing Operations Procedures and Work Aids for broader procedural updates
- Analyze and plan cost and schedule estimates, including staffing requirements
- Prepare forecasts, cost trend reports, and monitor budget performance across multiple projects
- Identify and report deviations, underruns, and overruns; recommend corrective actions
- Update reports and documentation in coordination with Foreman
- Promote effective communication and teamwork across Operations Readiness teams
- Coordinate with external project management teams (Global Projects, Wells/Drilling)
- Continue improving Operations Readiness tools (cost tracking, scheduling, etc.)
- Secondary education completed
- 3–5 years of experience in Oil & Gas upstream/midstream projects or operations
- Prior experience supporting wellwork, flowback operations, or project cost/schedule control
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
- Ability to clearly convey recommendations to management
- Skilled in negotiation and coordination across internal teams
- Proficiency in cost estimating, project planning, and controls
- Strong analytical, consulting, and mentoring abilities
- Adaptable to changing priorities
- Capable of managing cross-functional activities effectively
