You will report functionally to the head of underwater pipeline engineering and operationally to the engineer responsible for these activities on projects.

Thus, your main tasks will be as follows:
• Document and technical specifications reviews from our clients, drafting descriptions of the proposed infrastructures during the tender phase;
• Active participation in engineering reviews;
• Interface resolution with other infrastructures or disciplines.
• The measurements of materials and equipment needed such as pipes, elbows, forged parts;
• The study and detailed design of the pipelines;
• The detailed design of pipeline crossing structures, support frames, protection structures for pipelines against falling objects (anchors, drilling rods, containers, etc), final isometric pieces intended to accommodate line extensions ("spools & jumpers"),
• Fatigue resistance analyses (ocean currents, starting and restarting production, the history of stresses induced in the line during installation, pre-startup, or production phases);
• Calculations of thermal elongations, anchorage length, and estimation of compressive stresses induced by soil resistance, as well as analyses related to the buckling of pipes under pressure and temperature constraints
• Possible works to control buckling phenomena and axial instabilities related to the succession of operational cycles ("pipeline walking");
• Feedback from projects, consolidation and maintenance of technical tools, and technological vigilance on industry developments;
• Training and mentoring of young resources.

PROFILE
• Engineering degree (mechanical) In general, materials resistance, hydrodynamics, civil engineering, mechanical engineering, structure and/or naval and maritime architecture), you have at least 4 years of experience in the design of underwater pipelines;
