Introduction: We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Field Foreman in the Bonnyville area for a permanent hire role with one of our Oil & Gas clients. This position offers stability, growth opportunities, and a chance to be part of a dynamic team committed to excellence in field operations.

Job Description: This position is responsible for overseeing and coordinating various aspects of field operations, including commissioning, production, and maintenance, while ensuring safety, efficiency, and compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Safety Management: Implement and enforce safety protocols, policies, and procedures to protect workers and the environment.
  • Compliance and Regulatory: Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, environmental standards, and company policies.
  • Supervision and Coordination: Oversee and guide workers, contractors, and subcontractors, ensuring tasks are completed effectively and safely.
  • Production and Maintenance: Oversee the daily operation, maintenance, and repair of field equipment, machinery, and facilities.
  • Scheduling and Planning: Develop and manage work schedules, budgets, and timelines, ensuring projects are completed on time and within budget.
  • Resource Management: Manage and procure materials, supplies, and equipment needed for operations.
  • Communication and Reporting: Maintain clear communication with management, employees, and contractors, preparing and submitting reports as needed.
  • Training and Development: Train and mentor new employees, providing guidance and support to ensure they develop the necessary skills and knowledge.
  • Problem Solving: Address issues, troubleshoot problems, and make decisions to ensure operations continue smoothly and safely.
Skill Requirements:

  • Leadership and Supervision: Ability to lead, motivate, and supervise a team of workers.
  • Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of oil and gas operations, equipment, and processes.
  • Safety Expertise: Thorough knowledge of safety protocols, procedures, and regulations.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively communicate with various stakeholders.
  • Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to identify and resolve issues effectively and efficiently.
  • Organizational Skills: Strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks, projects, and schedules.
Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in oil and gas field operations.
  • Relevant certifications in safety management and field operations.
  • Proven track record of managing teams and projects in a field setting.
  • Strong analytical and decision-making skills.
  • Experience with tank treating is an asset
