Project : Development studies for Block 20/11 are performed by the GPI, which is a multi-disciplinary and dedicated structure, acting on behalf of the Affiliate (TEPA) in accordance to HQ processes in terms of methodology and governance. This choice is justified by project context, field complexity and the overall project schedule (Fast -track project, 5 years from farm-in and operatorship transfer to First Oil). 
The development consists in production by subsea wells to a spread moored FPSO (75 kbopd, 60 kbop water injection, 400 MMscfd gas reinjection, oil tandem offloading)  with a contextualized Technical Referential.   

ACTIVITIES
  • In collaboration with the Contract leader and part of the contract management team, assist in managing and administering the Engineering, Procurement, Supply, Construction and Commission (EPSCC) Contract, and Operations and Maintenance (O&M) Contract
  • Following up of all contractual matters and interfacing with Project Control Leader and Package Manager frequently.
  • Internal reporting within Block 20/11 project, Affiliate and Head Quarters as required.
  • Assistance to Project Control Leader for progress, cost, schedule items (including Project Control Reporting).
  • Interfacing with the Project C&P manager, on affiliate related governance, compliance and processes.
  • Coordinating contractual activities/initiatives with the Contract lead of the packages

Deliverables
Reporting to the Contract Leader, the Job Holder shall

Organizational tasks:
  • Interfacing with the contract leader, and the packages PMT members
  • Liaise and regularly communicate with the Affiliate entities as required.
  • Provide insight on contract management/priorities with FPSO contract leader, the PCL, and the package mngt
  • Engineering tasks:
  • Coordinate and support with FPSO Engineering team for internal contractual clarifications and awareness.
  • Interfaces tasks:
  • Manage the contractual interfaces with other project packages.
  • Project Management tasks:
  • Interfacing and answer to the request from Project/package Management team for internal contract clarifications and awareness.
  • Participate in internal and external FPSO weekly/monthly progress meetings.
  • Reporting & Communication tasks:
  • Ensure the reporting and interfaces to the Contract lead and Project Control Leader.
  • Ensure the reporting at package and project level if required
  • Effective communication to PMT
  • Contract Management tasks:
  • Contractual administration of EPSCC, O&M and being able to identify contract breach.
  • Being able to propose contractual strategic approach.
  • Manage in and out correspondences with contractor and ensure its follow-up and reporting status
  • Support the claim / counter claim process
  • Support the technical entities for contractual clarification.
  • Perform commercial clarification and commercial evaluation in accordance to the contract
  • Manage Variation Order Requests (VORs) and proposal (VOP’s) from both Company and Contractor.
  • Contribute to the internal contract clarifications and general contractual awareness.
  • Contribute to the team in placement of PO’s for additional assistance or study required by the project (within SAP).
  • Maintaining and updating of contractual registers (correspondence, VO, contract deadlines).
  • Provide contractual input to project documentation as required.
  • Ensure the confidentiality of all the documentation produced.

Technical Requirements : 
  • Contract Engineer with 15+ year experience in similar role (FPSO EPSCC and/or O&M contracts) with experience in multi payment mechanism contract and large experience in contract administration
  • Good understanding and knowledge of various aspects of the Exploration and Production and expertise in contract management during the project execution phase (management of claims and insurances among others).
  • Synthetic and analytical approach to task completion.
  • Organization, negotiation, and transverse coordination expertise for task completion.
  • Ability to convince, make and adhere to the decisions taken by the management.
  • Dynamic, organized and rigorous in document management.
  • Have an open mind and a sense of listening.
  • Fluent in English
