General Ledger Accountant

PRIMARY DUTIES / RESPONSIBILITIES    

1. Perform balance sheet account reconciliations and variance analysis
2. Prepare and post journal entries
3. Manage fixed asset and lease accounting process
4. Assist in the preparation of data analytics and financial reports through SAP and other business intelligence tools 
5. Completion of audit requests for both internal and external auditors
6. Assist in the implementation of accounting systems, procedures and internal controls 7. Support process improvement and standardization initiatives.

 
 
  QUALIFICATIONS
  Education /
Experience / Background  
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field
2+ Years of experience in accounting or finance functions
Proficiency in SAP and other financial reporting tools.
Proficient in Microsoft Excel (advanced functions, pivot tables, VLOOKUP, etc.)
Experience with VBA, data analytics, and reporting automation is a plus.
