Primary Purpose of the Job:

Responsible to develop and monitor/support the implementation of the Corporate and Business Strategies, providing insight to leadership on portfolio outlook, corporate strategic issues, and capital allocation. Supports the preparation of the Group Plan and ongoing business development initiatives. Manages relationships with external credit rating agencies and supports external financing activities

Educational Qualifications:

University degree in a scientific, engineering, or economic/financial subject preferably at post-graduate level and/or with a relevant internationally recognised professional qualification.

Experience:

• 15+ years of professional experience in an oil or gas, process industry, consultancy/advisory company, or investment bank, with proven experience in strategic planning, and economic and financial analysis/modelling at a corporate level.
• Strong understanding of the oil & gas value chain, exposure to a wide range of operational situations and a deep understanding of value drivers and commercial structures across the value chain.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to build alignment across a diverse group of stakeholders and lead multidisciplinary teams.
• Strong analytical skills and the ability to analyse, articulate, and present complex concepts to key senior stakeholders in a confident and credible manner.
• Direct experience in the development of corporate / business unit strategies in the energy sector.
• Self-starter confident to act independently in a dynamic environment with willingness to accept uncertainty and shape the strategic agenda of the company.
