Responsibility: 
  • The Site HSES Manager assists and advises the Site Manager concerning all HSES issues on sites.
  • From the start of site activities until the hand-over of the plant, Site HSES Manager coordinates all site HSES efforts and activities, and represents E&C China towards the customers, partners, subcontractors regarding HSES issues. And he leads and guides his team of HSES engineers.
  • His nomination for a particular project shall be in line with local legal requirements, monitor and cascade local laws and regulations to implement. At site, he manages and gives instructions to all the E&C safety personnel, interfacing with Subcontractor(s) safety teams and is responsible for Safety, health, environment and security at worksite.
  • Lead in managing and solving HSES and emergency issues at site, advise and support to interface with local authority and institutions regarding site HSES management issue.
Experience:
  • Working Experience: 15 years of professional HSES experience in the greenfield & brownfield demolishing/construction and commissioning of Oil&Gas or Chemical Industry.
  • Significant hands-on experience as site HSES manager.
  • Knowledge of Taiwan regulation.
  • Past experience on AL projects (ASU, Electronic, etc) will be preferred.
  • Basic knowledge in heavy lifting, rigging, scaffolding and confined space.
  • Basic knowledge in commissioning, interface management and LOTO.
  • Mindset oriented on how to formalize and organize.
  • Good communication skills and appetite for diplomacy.
  • Specific safety training certificates for dedicated site activities (e.g. work at height, confined space entry, etc) already available for Taiwan is a “plus”.
