You’ll be the driving force behind a high-spec rebuild of 51 haul trucks, managing the process from decommissioning to final handover. With 8 trucks already in progress and the first two returning to site shortly, you’ll step into a fast-moving, high-impact role.

About the Role

You’ll be the Project Delivery Specialist of the certified rebuild program, ensuring trucks are:
  • Decommissioned on site
  • Rebuilt to zero-hour spec
  • Recommissioned and handed over to operations

You’ll liaise with:
  • OEM rebuild teams
  • Site maintenance and mobile delivery teams
  • Tyre teams, tray contractors (e.g., Schlam)
  • Internal stakeholders and permitting teams

This is a high-visibility role with significant autonomy and responsibility.

What You’ll Bring
  • Mechanical Engineering Degree
  • Strong project execution and contractor coordination experience on site and from Perth
  • Background in SMP or piping projects highly regarded
  • Experience with HME, especially haul trucks
  • Familiarity with remanufacturing processes
  • Commercial acumen - dealing with OEMs, suppliers, and contractors
  • Understanding of zero-hour rebuild standards, NDT, and failed item inspections
  • Strong skills in cost control, safety management, scheduling, and budgeting
  • Ability to lead and deliver under pressure – you’ll be trusted with a major capital project
