Job Purpose
Reporting to Hook-up Lead, the Hook-up Superintendent handles coordinating the NFXP Offshore Hook-up activities for NFXP Topsides & STPs to ensure objectives are met within the approved scope and schedule, and to ensure that all work is completed in accordance with safety and quality standards applicable.

Job Context & Major Challenge(s)
Must be able to execute work both Onshore and Offshore as needed including rotational assignments as required.
Ability to work on or be based on a platform or vessel.
Interfaces with Contractor Hook Up team and Contractor Marine Warranty Surveyor.
Interfaces with various project teams and departments on resolving related issues that require effective communication, initiative, flexibility and an ability to induce collaboration.

Key Job Accountabilities
1. Focal point at site, for implementing safety leadership and safe execution of the work and assist Hook Up Lead in executing Project responsibilities. Co-ordinate the hook-up team and keep the team committed to targets defined by the Project Management.
2. Support the Hook-up Lead in executing Project responsibilities for his scope of work. Coordinate, prepare and implement all hook-up related marine spread operation, lifting and installation of the Project.
3. Ensure coordination for site activities and provides technical advice to the contractor for all aspects of quality, safety, planning and engineering in relation to the Hook-up scopes and ensure contractor documents and other submittals, including work packs, job cards, L4 schedule, commissioning sequence & ITRs but not limited, are reviewed and approved in accordance with the EPC contract requirements.
4. Review, comment, and approve the contractor and company hook up readiness requirements.
5. Ensure technical aspects of the Risk Management Plan are managed effectively and review & approve design changes, coordinate all onshore and hook up changes specification revisions and exceptions in accordance with the Project Management of Change (PMOC) processes.
6. Review all onshore & offshore Hook-up changes, including justification for cost and schedule impacts, in accordance with the PMOC procedure.
7. Co-ordinate the Hook-up Jack-up barge operation together with supporting vessels as per the hook-up requirements of the Project.
8. Ensure the technical objectives are met within the approved scope & schedule and ensure technical interfaces with Project PMT, Site PMT, MWS are managed effectively.
9. Support external interfaces with RLIC (Ras Laffan Industrial City), other operators and schedule & arrange technical support to shareholders.

Qualifications
Bachelors Degree in Sciences or Engineering
Required to have offshore survival certificate and be able to pass an offshore medical evaluation.
OPITO certification is considered a plus.

Knowledge and/or Experience
8 years' experience with Large Projects in Construction related disciplines (e.g., construction, installation, fabrication, execution, completion, hook-up, etc.) in the Oil & Gas Industry, including 1 year of experience in a supervisory role, including acting roles, or oversight of service/vendor personnel.
Experience with Oil and Gas companies, contractors, service companies, or heavy construction companies.
Knowledge of design standards, specifications, codes, and appropriate safety criteria related to major fabrication, transport, installation, brownfield execution, and hook-up, as applicable to the project scope.
Knowledge of offshore facilities and structures, onshore facilities, or yard operations as applicable to a project scope.
Knowledge of execution methods and risks associated with sour gas and LNG production facilities.
Experience working in large scale operating organizations in Operations, Projects, Subsurface, etc.
Extensive Offshore experience in Hook Up Supervisory Role.
Hook-Up Offshore experience with EPC contractors, sub-contractors and vendors involved in the oil and gas industry.
