HSE Advisor - senior - Foundation

An experienced Senior HSE Advisor is sought to support foundation and wind turbine generator installation phases for a major offshore renewable energy construction project. The role will ensure strong safety performance, promote proactive risk management, and drive continuous improvement across all HSE functions—both onshore at the marshalling port and offshore aboard heavy-lift vessels.

🔧 Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and promote a positive, data-driven HSE culture through proactive engagement, leadership, and best practices.

  • Review, approve, and oversee implementation of Risk Assessments and Method Statements (RAMS).

  • Facilitate toolbox talks, safety briefings, audits, incident investigations, and safety walkdowns.

  • Ensure compliance with legal and internal HSE systems, including document control, emergency response plans, and audits (ISO 45001/14001/9001).

  • Maintain Synergi entries for incidents and proactive actions; analyze trends and drive corrective measures.

  • Engage with contractors and internal teams at various levels to promote collaboration and compliance.

  • Support delivery of HSE inductions, training, and performance reporting.

  • Contribute to offshore readiness, foundation installation, and transition to WTG phase activities.

Requirements:
  • 3–5+ years' experience in HSE roles, preferably within offshore wind, marine construction, or heavy lifting.

  • Recognized HSE certification (e.g. NEBOSH Level 3 or higher).

  • Strong understanding of root cause analysis, audits, incident investigation, and contractor engagement.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and HSE systems (Synergi or similar is a plus).

  • Fluent in English (spoken and written).

  • Valid European driving license.

🧾 Desirable Qualifications:
  • QHSE Degree, Diploma, or equivalent Level 6 certification.

  • IEMA or NEBOSH Environmental qualifications.

  • Certified Auditor (ISO standards).

  • Offshore experience with foundation or WTG installation vessels.

  • Experience in delivering HSE-related training or inductions.
