Now we explore opportunities in the aftermarket for renewables, to deliver offshore maintenance for the renewable sector when the market is ready. Aker Solutions is looking for an Instrument Engineer with experience in onshore or offshore projects. The project is based in Kristiansund and will be led from there.
 
Position Responsibilities:
  • Act as Package Responsible Engineer for fiscal metering SW modification.
  • Coordinate with suppliers and review documents and drawings.
  • Provide engineering inputs for job packages.
  • Create as-builts of supplier drawings and redline mark-ups received from offshore.
  • Report all critical matters to the Discipline Lead and Engineering Manager.
  • Take responsibility for Quality and HSSE in assigned projects.
  • Ensure identification of changes and contribute to change requests.
  • Conduct offshore surveys, including general field instrument engineering, system engineering, automation and control engineering.
  • Prepare installation job cards and collaborate with other disciplines, suppliers, and clients.
 
Skills and Levels Description:
  • Fluent in English, both written and oral.
  • Associate Degree, Vocational school, BSc, or MSc.
  • Minimum 2 years' experience in the oil and gas industry.
  • Solid knowledge of offshore EIT installations and requirements.
  • Experience in supplier coordination and follow-up.
  • Proficient in creating as-builts of tags and drawings.
  • Strong communication skills and a team player.
  • Capable of performing estimation work and planning activities.
