To strengthen our team, Aker Solutions team in Fornebu is looking for an Instrument Mechanical Package Engineer who can help us succeed.

What will you be doing? 

You will be working as Instrument Mechanical Package Engineer together with other colleagues in the Hugin A project, your responsibility includes but not limited to the following:
  • Give input to package requirements
  • Coordinate assistance to the packages from the other groups within the instrument and automation discipline
  • Coordinate package design with the other disciplines
  • Clarifications to supplier and verify design into the project

We think you should have some of the following:
  • Bachelor’s degree in relevant field
  • 10 years’ experience in relevant field
  • Documented experience with instrument and system design
  • Good experience with instrument and automation design of major packages like compressor and SRU
  • Good knowledge of NORSOK standards and European directives like ATEX
  • Knowledge of Aker Solutions’ work processes
  • Good experience with supplier follow-up
  • Pro-active, good communication skills
  • Software skills: Microsoft tools, knowledge of ProARC and COMOS preferred
  • Fluent English, written and spoken

Working location: Fornebu, Oslo
Contract duration: April 2025 with option for extension
