Job Summary: We are looking for a detail-oriented and experienced Instrumentation Supervisor to oversee the installation, calibration, maintenance, and troubleshooting of instrumentation systems in an industrial setting. The ideal candidate will ensure that all instrumentation work is performed safely, efficiently, and in compliance with project specifications and industry standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and coordinate all instrumentation activities on-site, including installation, loop checking, calibration, and commissioning.
  • Interpret and review instrumentation drawings, loop diagrams, and technical specifications.
  • Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and environmental regulations.
  • Monitor contractor and technician performance to ensure adherence to project timelines and standards.
  • Conduct inspections and testing of field instruments such as transmitters, control valves, analyzers, and PLC/DCS systems.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve instrumentation issues during construction and commissioning phases.
  • Maintain accurate records of work progress, test results, and calibration certificates.
  • Collaborate with engineering, QA/QC, and operations teams to ensure smooth project execution and handover.
  • Support the development and implementation of preventive maintenance programs for instrumentation systems.
Qualifications:
  • Diploma or degree in Instrumentation Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum 5–8 years of experience in instrumentation supervision in industrial, petrochemical, or oil & gas environments.
  • Strong knowledge of instrumentation standards (ISA, IEC, etc.) and control systems.
  • Hands-on experience with field instrumentation, PLCs, DCS, and SCADA systems.
  • Familiarity with hazardous area classifications and intrinsic safety requirements.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficient in MS Office and instrumentation software tools.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Certification in instrumentation or control systems (e.g., ISA CAP, TÜV Functional Safety).
  • Experience with commissioning of automated process control systems.
  • Knowledge of digital commissioning tools and asset management systems.
