Due to demand for their fresh perspective and continued growth our client is currently looking for an experienced, collaborative Intermediate Civil Engineer.

You will have full New Zealand experience working with minimal guidance on completing complex civil engineering designs for subdivision, roading and building developments, you will have a good understanding of geotechnical requirements, value and enhance client relationships and work well in a team environment.

Key Accountabilities
  • Advanced Civil 3D skills for civil engineering designs for subdivision, roading and general infrastructure projects.
  • Complex stormwater and wastewater systems for residential and commercial developments.
  • Culvert design and assessments of existing stormwater catchments
  • Traffic impact assessments
  • Mostly working independently but knowing when to ask for advice and support
  • Managing project budgets and invoicing
  • Other duties as directed by management
Competencies
  • Bachelor of Engineering Technology or similar qualification preferred
  • 3-6 Years Experience. At least 2 years NZ experience preferred.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office products, Civil 3D and other civil design software
  • NZ Driver’s License
  • Experience in navigating local authority dynamics.
