We are seeking an experienced Intermediate Project Manager to join our dynamic Canada Gas Projects team, focused on the execution of Pipeline Integrity projects across Canadian assets. The ideal candidate brings a blend of technical acumen, leadership, and project management expertise, and thrives in a fast-paced environment that supports the delivery of short-cycle, high-impact projects from concept to completion.
Candidates with a junior-level background may also be considered, depending on their exposure to and experience in pipeline integrity projects. Key Responsibilities

- Project Development & Feasibility
Conduct feasibility studies and alternative analyses to assess technical, financial, and operational viability. - Project Planning & Execution
Develop detailed project plans in alignment with internal standards (TOMS, PDS), defining scope, timelines, deliverables, and resource requirements. - Stakeholder Engagement
Initiate and maintain strong communication with internal and external stakeholders to ensure alignment throughout the project lifecycle. - Team Leadership
Lead cross-functional teams, promoting collaboration and ensuring team alignment with project goals. - Resource & Budget Management
Coordinate with internal departments for resource allocation and contractor engagement. Monitor project budgets to ensure adherence to financial targets. - Risk & Change Management
Identify potential project risks and implement effective mitigation strategies. Manage project changes in scope, schedule, and budget through formal processes. - Safety & Quality Leadership
Demonstrate and promote a strong corporate safety culture. Support site construction with an emphasis on safety and quality assurance. - Supply Chain Coordination
Partner with the Supply Chain team for contractor engagement, RFPs, scope development, and release/purchase order issuance. - Performance Monitoring & Reporting
Track project performance and provide progress reports, highlighting achievements, issues, and areas for improvement. - Post-Construction Monitoring
Ensure all environmental and regulatory post-construction commitments are met. - Continuous Improvement
Contribute to team-wide continuous improvement initiatives and implement approved enhancements to project delivery processes.
- Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related technical field (preferred)
- A diploma in a related field will also be considered
- Certifications
- PMP certification is an asset
- Experience
- Minimum of 3 years' experience in project management within Pipeline Integrity or similar energy infrastructure projects
- Proven track record of managing projects from initiation through execution and closeout
- Familiarity with TOMS, PDS, and short-cycle project delivery is preferred
- Skills
- Strong organizational, leadership, and decision-making abilities
- Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and communication skills
- Customer-focused mindset aligned with regulatory and commercial drivers
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record required
